Can I call both mobile and landline numbers? +
Yes. Sahal supports all Nigerian mobile networks (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile) and landlines nationwide. Just dial the full number including country code +234.
Does the person I call need Sahal? +
No. You can call any phone number — they receive a normal call. Only Sahal-to-Sahal calls are free (both parties need the app for that).
What is call quality like? +
Sahal uses HD VoIP technology over a stable internet connection. Quality is typically crystal clear. A minimum of 1 Mbps is recommended for best results.

How do I recharge my balance? +
Go to the Recharge section in the app or website. Enter your email, choose an amount in Naira, and pay via bank transfer, debit/credit card, USSD, or mobile money. Balance updates instantly.
What payment methods are accepted? +
We accept Nigerian bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard debit and credit cards, USSD (*737#, *770# etc.), and mobile money services.
Is there a minimum recharge amount? +
Yes, the minimum recharge is ₦500. There is no maximum limit.
Are there hidden fees? +

Can I keep my existing phone number? +
Yes. Verify your existing number in app settings and it will show on the recipient's screen when you call — so they always know it's you.
What devices does Sahal support? +
Sahal is available on iPhone (iOS 13+) and Android (8.0+). You can also use certain features from this website.
How do I earn free credits? +
